Last FL Race Review - Monte Carlo

Greetings RRR drivers and fans!
We come to the end of the line! Last FL race was driven this Sunday, and it was a race for remember! 18 drivers show up, for this epic finale, and what an elite too! Massa&Monty, Reh&RioRalle, surprisingly good NH90, veterans Icke&Wessy, TM2 elite Dome2010, and even Jahombre decide it to play!!

It all start at 19:00 on KnockOut race, were there was a 11 drivers, than all went to drive epic finale at Monte Carlo.. Massa beat Dome in KnockOut race, so I thought he will get 2 golds that night, but thing turns differently
Let's start form the begining.. Race started at 20:15, due to KnockOut race.. NH90 was very fast here, and even get bet time in week practice, so I expected good race for him, and even saw him at podium.. But when quali start, Massa had best time, and even get Pole Postion with only 0.02 seconds ahead of Reh! Very, very close.. Icke get third place, and Slaven was 4-th.. Monty and Winner didn't do good in fast lap, so they had last two places on grid, but fot them that is not big problem to catch up with us..

When lights go off, only Icke decide to go on 10min fuel strategy, followed by 20min group of ART drivers(Reh&RioRalle), G.F1 team (me and Slaven), and with NH90 and Jahombre too.. Everybody else decide to fuel for 30min in start.. Of course, Icke take lead, but Reh was very fast, and just Slaven manage to keep with him.. By that time I was fighting (almost all race) with RioRalle and NH90.. Although NH90 was fastest here, he didin't get good race pace here, and in many times he hit walls loosing many seconds there.. Few minutes before I need to go to pit, Massa alreday pass me, and he was getting close to Slaven and Reh, who was in lead with good advantage.. By the time I enter the pit, Monty pass me too, and RioRalle and NH90 catch up with me.. By that time, we already lose Jahombre (I guess he connection broke) and Winner who decide to quit after hitting the wall on first corner.. At the back, Fuzzy was making progress, and although Icke had fastest laps, Fuzzy got a nice race pace.. Wessy didn't practice this track, so he wasn't as his best this Sunday.. Others had a nice fight, and that include Quickes, Dome2010 and Krumel!
15 laps until end, we lose Slaven.. His connection went off, and my happiness then rised a lot! By that time, he was third! Few lap after, Wessy went missing in tunnel.. Too bad.. 5 laps before end, Reh had a lead with just a little advantage.. Monty was on third place, but fight for a 4-th place was still open.. I manage to get near NH90 and RioRalle, altough I had a 6 secs of gap between them.. Firt I catch NH90 (who made a 1 local in race!!), and than RioRalle.. In final lap, it was an epic deul with Reh and Massa, and although Massa get 1 local in last lap (same time as NH90) he was 0.2 seconds behind Reh, on finish line! Just 0.2 seconds!! Good racing you too! Monty end up third, and I manage to keep 4-th place although NH90 was just one seconds behind me!! Last 2 laps he was very fast, and I thought he will get me, but I didn't make any mistakes in last lap, and finish 4-th! RioRalle made a few mistake and end up on 6-th place, very close to Fuzzy who was 7-th in the end! 8-th was Icke, 9-th was LameDuck, 10-th Morpheus.. Ouickies was best between Dome2010 and Krumel, so he end up 11-th, Dome 12-th, and Krumel 13-th! Tina was last on 14-trh place.. Wessy, Slaven, Winner and Jahombre DNF!

An epic finale, in epic race in epic Chamiponship! It all start at 06.02. last year at Japan(Gifu), and ending this Sunday in Monte Carlo! A whole year!! 25 races in it! Each one special, and each one to remember it for something! Massa is the best! His concetration and speed is amazing! He deserved this first place! Reh proved to be a very fast, and even a good oponnent to Massa! He and RioRalle make this FL races more fun and interesting! Thank you guys, and hope to see you on TrackMania 2 soon! It would be a shame, to drive without you there I get bronze medal and that's thanks to Winner who decide to quit this race, so he ruined his excelent score! And thanks for Slaven for his 3 DNF, being better than him was my lifes goal so FL race was succes for me! Scuderia Ferrari (Massa&Monty) get constructor championship, and Copy/Paste team (me and G.F1 Slaven) took silver, and Jagermaister Racing (Reh&RioRalle) got bronze!

What can I say in the end? Although we (me and Slaven) show at 8-th race and we were newcomeres here, when time pass I fell here like I'm driving with my own team! Execelnt races, solid turnouts, surround by the lovley and very kind people here, I felt like 'home' here! And I was looking forward to each race on every event here! Too bad that few of our member in team didn't stay longer here, but that's life too.. Too bad that yours good driver (Febroso, Kosmic, poseland, Sulfite, etc...) didn't stay till end, but maybe we will see them soon on TM2
Thank you guys all for making my Sunday nights interesting, and BIG THANKS goes to your 'leader' (even he don't like this title, but for me is a KING ) one-and-only Jahombre! With always smile on his face, he manage to get all things done! Tracks, results, events, (recently even WRC is alive!) - he did that all in time and with love, so for thanking him for keeping this community alive, I decide to write a couple of articles, just to keep races alive and that he know that we appreciate that, and that he is not alone in this!
But, just one thing I must say to all of you.. It would be very nice to write a review of yours race here in forum, when you finish driving! In our team, when we finish race, almost everybody write a few sentecnes of race review, so we all read how everybody else see a race.. It keeps forum alive, it keeps racing more fun and tihs shows Jahombre that we enjoy driving here.. That's just my thought, though..

Hope to see lots of driver in upcoming Champinoship at TM2 GT races, and to see all you lovley people healthly and with the smile on yours face, as always, at Sunday nights as usually!

Season Finale - Back to Monte Carlo

Aloha RRR drivers!
Here we are.. On final track this amazing Chamiponship, and what better track than Monte Carlo, and this one is made by our lovley Jahombre!!
25-th FL race is the last one in FL Championship, so we need it to finish epic! With every RRR driver on the race!
Track is very nice, with almost everything that TM track needs.. Narrow corners, uphills, downhills, tunels, jumps, chicanes, fast chicanes -
So RRR drivers, spare a free time this Sunday, and let us all enjoy and have fun on the last race of FLC!



As you can see, track is very hard, and it's very difficult to drove a lap wihtout mistake(s)! So arm yourself with patience and concetration, because you will needed it badly!
After start/finish line we came across on turn no.1. which is very tricky corner, becuse you have a nice speed, and then it's very hard to pass this corner without hitting the left wall, so you'll need to pass him very close to the right side of curve, and avoid getting slide! Also is uphill from there, so on turn no.2. you'll came in jumping mode, so try to land on the track! Also, keep in mind to be very close to the left side of track so you will get good racing line for turn no.3.! This corner there is very tricky, because in most cases you don't have a perfect racing lince, so I almost always ending up hitting the left side of the track and loose my speed! So try not do drive like me there! Then we came to the turns no.4., no.5., and no.6., That's combniation with very narrow corners, and turns with almost 180 degrees! Beware while exiting turn no.4. not to hit the wall on left side, and that you go wide in turn no.5.! In turn no.6. (before entering a tunnel) when you pass first 90 degree turn, try to release a throtlle for a second, so you will have a good speed to pass second 90 degree corner without hitting wall in front of the CP (tunnel entrance).. In tunnel lights on! After tunnel we come to hard chicane and turn no.7.! It's hard becuase we make a jump while exiting a tunnel, and not having time to properly align car with racing line to pass that chicane! So try to jump on the right side of the track, and keep in mind that you'll need to brake fast, and quickly manevour through that chicane! After that we're getting some speed, and then we come to turn no.8.! It has chicane entrance which you'll need to practice it a lot, becuase in most of cases, you'll end up hitting wall and then you'll need to drive back a little to continue! So be very careful here! If you get that chicane properly, you'll need to make fast manevour to the right so you can pass through the exit of turn no.8. with good speed and without mistake.. Otherwise.. Hmm.. Problems.. After that we have only two turns until end.. Turn no.9. is 180 degree turn, so try to go wide here and not to hit wall while exiting that turn, and on turn no.10. just keep in mind that you'll may hit wall also while exiting that turn! After that, it's full speed to the turn no.1..

24-th FL Race Review - Berlin

Aloha RRR drivers and newspaper readers!
We are one step until the end of Formula Lion Championship for this saeason! And 2 days ago we drove City race in Berlin which was a very good race! 13 drivers show this Sunday but missing few good drivers too.. Massa&Monty decide to take brake letting us (normal humans) to win some races Slaven weren't too because he get drunk and felt down on his right hand, so he wasn't able to drive, and he can't do "other" things now with his right hand too Flying TM2 driver - Dome, wasn't either, because he knew that his ass will be kick here!
But, Winner was there, as TMdriver also, hwo was very fast this week, and RioRalle made it to, so fun was guaranteed! Too bad Icke and Wessy weren't as they can be (probably they mind are now in TM2 GT upcoming championship ) so they weren't fast on this track..

TMdriver get Pole Postion, as it all guess he would, with +0.25 advantage over me! LameDuck was good here and get 3-rd place with +0.11 behind me, and Winner was 4-th with only +0.07 behind LameDuck..
As race start, only Icke and Morpheus went for a 10 min fuel, and Hiita was only for 20 min fuel, all others decide for a 30 min of fuel.. Soon Icke get lots of advantage over Morpheus, and Winner, TMdriver, me and RioRalle alreday get Hiita.. Soon Icke went into Pits for fuel, and than Winner take lead with 1-2 secs ahead of TMdriver.. Me and RioRalle were fighting in that time, but we were almost 6-7 seconds behind a leader.. Winner in some part of race was over 3 secs ahead of TMdriver, and over 10 secs ahead of me, so I tohught he will be uncatchable.. After 30min he went for a 20min Pits, so I decide to take a risk and go 2 times for a 10 min fuel.. Same thought was in TMdriver and RioRalle heads so they also decide to go on that strategy.. Then TMdriver take a lead, and I was behind him in 2 secs.. Soon he start to get faster, but than he hits the wall, and stop driving!! Connection? Pissed of? Anyway, I was now in the lead with 8-9 secs ahead of Winner and RioRalle.. By the time I get out from second 10 min fuel, I was only 2 sech behind Winner, so my strategy pays off.. RioRalle than go into Pits, so I and Winner were fighting for gold, and there were 7-8 laps to go.. 5 laps to go, I manage to get by Winner, but at that same point I hit the wall, so Winner get lead again.. Then Winner didn't make any mistake until the end! And to prove he was best here, in the last lap he drove best lap in the race! Totaly deserved win by Winner! I get silver, and RioRalle bronze medal.. Icke was solid here, and get 4-th place with 8 secs of advantage of 5-th LameDuck! Fuzzy was 6-th, and Wessy only get 7-th place with almost one minute of gap from Winner!
With 2 laps behind Hiita get 8-th place, 9-th was Morpheus, and 10-th was Quickes hwo used big mistake of Krumel in last laps of race, so Krumel was 11-th! Tina was 12-th, and last position goes to TMdriver hwo DNF!

In the end, it was another good race, at the streets of Berlin, although I'm not such of fun with flat tracks, but Berlin was sweet
Last FL race is next Sunday on 29.01. at 20:00!! 25-th race in row, and last one too, must be an epic track with every RRR drivers there too! So please, if you be free at that time, come and join&drive last FL race this season, because I think you owe this team that, and you owe yours Jahombre who keep this thing alive! After that we can start TM2 GT Championship and try to kick Dome ass there too!
